Phase one continues to create momentum at BizHub Industrial Park. With only 6 lots remaining, BizHub Developments is hard at work planning for a phase 2 release sometime in the coming year. BizHub Industrial Park has enjoyed tremendous success over the first 5 months of 2012. As of May 30th we have sold 5 lots with interest continuing to build into the summer months. This puts the park at over 60% sold with only 9 lots in Phase One remaining. Many previous buyers are currently in the planning and construction stage and quickly filling the parks remaining lots. Rosenau Transport Ltd. is in the process of building the largest building to date at BizHub Industrial Park. At over 55,000 square feet, the phase one portion of their site is already nearing lock up stage in record time. The massive industrial warehousing and logistics station is clearly visible from Highway 16 and will be open for business in the new year. Wilco Southwest has relocated their Saskatoon operations to 14 Capital Circle in the BizHub Industrial Park. Wilco is one of Canada’s leaders in open space site development, specializing in landscape construction, excavation and civil infrastructure and atheltic facilities. With work just beginning on their new facility check back often for construction updates and pictures. BizHub welcomes Wilco Southwest.
Caron Transportation Systems anticipates their new building at 40 Capital Circle to be completed and operational within the month. The new masonary building provides a great visual upon entrance to the park with it’s red roof and fenced compound. The photo gallery provides a number of shots showing the building features. On May 17, 2011 Saskatoon played host to the inaugural Saskatchewan Real Estate Forum. BizHub Industrial Park was proud to be a presenting sponsor for the Industrial section of the forum and had our President and CEO David Dube and CIO Michael Bischoff featured as guest panelists. Recent snowfall has not hampered construction that is currently ongoing at Caron Transport, Rimex and Co-op. On March 3rd BizHub Industrial Park was alive with activity. The Co-op Cardlock is now fully operating and serving their customers bulk diesel, gas and propane. Kubota of Saskatoon has unveiled their new exterior and is a welcome additon to the landscape, while both Canwel Building Supplies and Boart Longyear are busy serving their customers. With three new owners scheduled to start construction within the year, BizHub is definitely living up to it’s name.
Recently SaskBusiness Magazine released their annual “Business of the Year” award to the Saskatchewan business community. This award recognizes a Saskatchewan company that has achieved considerable business success while continuing to give back to the community. This year, Concorde Group Corp was honored to be named the recipient of this award. With anticipation of snow any day, BizHub has recently undergone some cosmetic upgrades. These include a hydraseed treatment to all berms and ditches which upon spring will grow into a manicured greenscape that will surround every lot. Adding to this, various trees and shrubs have been planted along the permiter to really give the park a finished, professional look.
